SUMMARY:Super Saturday Keys & Immobilizer Systems
DESCRIPTION:Vehicle security systems are considered by most technicians to be overly complex and difficult to repair. We will explore some solid foundations of how vehicle security works\, how each OE implements the systems and how to effectively approach diagnosis\, key production and cutting\, copying\, and key registering/programming. We will talk about PINs\, EEPROM\, NASTF\, and TOOLS! As well as current industry challenges. \nhttps://supersaturday.regfox.com/2023-super-saturday \n

SUMMARY:SEMA / AAPEX The Analytic Test Drive
DESCRIPTION:The Venetian Expo\, Level 1\, Rooms 407 \nTitle: The Analytic Test Drive \nDescription: \nThis seminar is $50.00 to attend. CLICK HERE to add to your current registration. \nA test drive is not intended to isolate faults which may be causing a symptom or concern. The purpose of an analytic test drive is simply to gather information. Then once the information you have gathered has been analyzed\, you can determine the proper test or tests to perform in order to narrow down the problem to a vehicle system or subsystem and eventually diagnose the root cause of a problem accurately. This class will examine several examples of captured scan data from test drives. This data will quickly assess the condition of the engine management system\, verify correct operation\, or find clues that will direct intrusive pinpoint tests efficiently. Whether the problem is DTC driven or symptom driven\, a repeatable test drive cycle will determine if the root cause is air (VE) related\, fuel related\, or adaptive related. \n\nIdentify telling PIDS\nCreate a repeatable process\nQuickly focus on necessary pinpoint tests\nEliminate wasted testing time\n\nPresented by: Carquest Technical Institute
